Here at Love’s Independent Funeral Directors, we have been keen to become part of our local community since opening in 2022. One very important connection we have made is with the team at Stafford Crematorium.
Monthly, The Friends of Stafford Crematorium hold meetings, and Stuart our Director attends, representing Love’s Independent Funeral Directors.
Every two years Stafford Crematorium holds an open day for our local community, showcasing all that is done in front and behind the scenes.
This year Stuart was accompanied by Susan.
Stuart was on hand throughout the day answering questions from visitors and other supporters. He showcased his Mercedes limousine and brought out, for the first time, his new mode of transport – ‘the tandem bike hearse’. There were lots of positive comments and compliments about the new mode of transport, that can be hired out to local funeral directors, should it be something families request.
As a Dementia Friends Ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society, Susan recently delivered an Information session to the staff of Stafford Crematorium and on Saturday presented and distributed information that can support people living with Dementia and their family and friends. Susan found the day invaluable and had a great deal of interest in the information available.
