Intimate Service at Woodlands Rest

You are here:

Forgo the full funeral service and arrange an intimate farewell at our private chapel

When someone important to you dies, it can be difficult to know how to say goodbye.

The traditional approach – a formal funeral service attended by dozens of mourners – isn’t for everyone. That’s why we offer our Intimate Service at Woodlands Rest.

This allows people to celebrate and mourn the person who’s died with a small and completely personalised service, held here at Primrose Cottage.

Intimate Service as part of a cremation or burial service

You can choose to have an Intimate Service at Woodlands Rest in place of a formal funeral service held at a place of worship or other large venue.

You will be able to say goodbye to the person who’s died with a small, intimate service held in our Woodlands Rest chapel, at Primrose Cottage.

The hire of Woodlands Rest will cost £175, and is arranged as part of our cremation or burial services.

Small, personalised funeral services for 15 people or fewer

With the Intimate Service at Woodlands Rest, 15 people or fewer are invited to attend a smaller, more personal funeral service.

You don’t need a particular reason to prefer a smaller service. You might wish to keep the service simple, with only the closest friends and family in attendance.

Perhaps you’d like to opt for private farewell for now, allowing you to plan for a bigger, well-attended celebration of life at a later date.

Whatever your reasons, the Intimate Service can help you to say goodbye in the way that suits you best.
