During the month of June, Stuart and the team at Love’s Independent Funeral Directors were thrilled to welcome staff from Katharine House Hospice to Primrose Cottage.
Over a two-week period, members from the Nursing, Counselling and administration team came in groups for an afternoon or friendship and information; to view the transformation of Primrose Cottage and hear about the services offered.
Stuart, our Funeral Director, explained to each group the process that a family is guided through when a loved one comes into our care. Much interest was shown, and Stuart answered all questions honestly and openly.
A complete tour of Primrose Cottage was given, and all members of Katharine House complimented us on the caring, compassionate, bright, airy and welcoming feeling from Primrose Cottage and the Love team.

Katharine House Hospice is a local charity providing specialist care for the people of Mid-Staffordshire who have a terminal illness, as well as support for their families.
Patients have a wide range of conditions including cancer, motor neurone disease, renal and heart failure.
The Hospice.aims to enable patients and those close to them to live life as fully as possible and make the most of the time that they have.
As a registered charity, Katharine House Hospice offers all services free of charge and provides a welcoming, warm and safe environment, where hope is kept alive and laughter is often heard.
