As we approach our second Easter here at Primrose Cottage, we decided once again to have a community collection of Easter Eggs, for a deserving organisation close to our hearts.
Stuart, our director has an excellent working partnership with Gayle Routledge, founder and CEO of Stafford-based charity ‘A Child of Mine’.
A Child of Mine provides emotional and practical support to bereaved parents and families after the most unimaginable loss, when a baby or child has died. They also work in partnership with health care professionals to help improve the care and support available when a child dies.
We hoped to collect a few eggs, to donate to Gayle, for her to share with the families and children supported by A Child of Mine; but once again received a wonderful response and we were proud to handover more than 200 eggs!
We are overwhelmed with the generous support from members of the Stafford community; families of loved ones we have supported; friends of Primrose Cottage; local business owners; florists and supermarket community champions, as well as our own team of drivers and bearers.
